Four people were killed when a private car lost control and rammed into a tree in Pabna’s Ishwardi. At this time, three others were injured. The names of the injured were not immediately available.
Pakshi Highway Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ashish Kumar Sanyal confirmed the matter to the media.
He said that the private car was going to Pabna from Ishwardi at night. On reaching the spot on the way, it lost control and collided with an electric pole and a tree on the side of the road, killing three people on the spot. When four injured people were rescued and taken to the hospital, the doctor on duty declared one more dead. Attempts are being made to identify the victims.
