The first prayer of the deceased will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque today Monday after Zohar. Later, he will be buried in the family graveyard of Bargaon village in Muktarpur union of Kaliganj police station under Gazipur district.
Asad bin Hafiz was born on January 1, 1958 in Bargao village under Kaliganj police station of Gazipur. His father Muhammad Hafizuddin Munshi and mother Julekha Begum. He is the younger brother of late Professor Yusuf Ali. He was 66 years old at the time of his death.

Later, he joined Manarat School and College as a Bengali lecturer.
