In a rally organized by the United Kingdom-based human rights organization Stand for Bangladesh to demand an international investigation into the continuous corruption and gross human rights violations of the dummy government of Bangladesh, ministers, MPs, bureaucrats and law enforcement agencies, the speakers said that Sheikh Hasina’s fascist government is looting the country and building a mountain of wealth abroad. Awami mafia is exploiting the people of the country in the name of development. They are now smuggling the wealth of the country abroad. Ministers and MPs are finding a lot of wealth abroad. The speakers demanded an international investigation into the wealth being smuggled abroad.
Last Monday (03 June 2024) this protest was held in a hall in East London. Md Shaheen Alam recited the Holy Quran at the beginning of the program under the chairmanship of Md Monirul Islam Shamim, the vice president of the organization and under the joint management of General Secretary Aminul Islam Mukul and Senior Joint Secretary Md Khalilur Rahman. Sirajul Islam Shaheen, former secretary of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Sylhet Metropolitan, spoke as the chief guest at the meeting. Aliullah Noman, executive secretary of Amardesh UK, former central office secretary of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir and president of Rajshahi University Md. Shamsul Alam Golap, former president of Dhaka Metropolitan South of Shibir were special guests. Speakers in the meeting said that the mafia class of the Awami Dummy government is bankrupting the banks by removing thousands of crores of dollars through corruption and looting. It is rare in the history of the world that the former army chief and police chief of the country looted the state resources, occupied the people’s land and built a park-resort, and fled abroad by forging passports. The so-called Awami MPs are involved in crimes like gold smuggling, human trafficking, money laundering etc. They have snatched thousands of crores of rupees from the migrant workers and put many on the way. Various forces of the government and Awami cadres are violating gross human rights through disappearances, murders and terrorism. Dissent people are being tortured through imprisonment. There will be no liberation from these oppressions without the fall of fascism. Speakers also said that all human rights violators including Aziz, Benazir, mafia and corrupt people should be arrested and prosecuted and looted wealth should be recovered and spent on the welfare of the country. People’s voting rights and human rights should be returned. Otherwise, dictatorial Sheikh Hasina will be forced to resign through a united mass revolution involving people of all parties, inshallah.
