BNP chairperson and former prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia’s unconditional release of the party’s rally today Saturday. The party has prepared for a big gathering in front of the central office at 2.30 pm. In addition to Dhaka metropolis, leaders and activists from neighboring districts and metropolises have been asked to participate. It can be said that it is going to be a big gathering of BNP after October 28.
Leaders and activists of pro-BNP professional organizations will also participate in it. With the same demand, they will hold rallies in all cities except Dhaka on July 1 and all districts on July 3. Senior leaders along with standing committee members will participate as chief guests.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will be the chief guest at the Naya Paltan rally today. Standing committee member Mirza Abbas will preside.
The top leaders of the central and affiliated organizations along with the members of the standing committee will also address. Joint Secretary General of BNP Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anyi said that the cooperation for the rally has been assured on Wednesday afternoon.
BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said in a press conference on Friday afternoon, ‘This rally is to demand the unconditional release of Khaleda Zia, a symbol of democracy, a leader who is unwaveringly committed to protecting freedom and sovereignty. All preparations have already been completed to make the Nayapaltan rally a success. Hopefully, there will be a historic gathering.’ He called upon all the leaders and workers of the party including Dhaka residents to attend the rally on time to demand the release of Khaleda Zia.BNP National Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas was given the task of coordinator to make this rally in Nayapaltan a success. For several days, he held meetings with BNP and affiliated organizations and gave various directions.
