While sleeping in Narayanganj Siddhirganj by his wife Najma. Suman (35) had a special case of amputation. The incident took place at a house in Hirajheel area of the upazila around five o’clock on Saturday.
He was rescued in a bloody condition and taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Police arrested the accused wife in this incident.
Suman’s neighbor said. Mustafizur Rahman said that the injured Suman is a senator by profession. While he was sleeping in his own room in the afternoon, his second wife cut off his private parts. Later, when the people nearby rushed to his screams, he was first taken to a local clinic in a bloody condition. After being quickly taken to Dhaka Medical, she was admitted to Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute with first aid.
He also said that the victim’s village is in Noakhali district. They currently lived in a rented house in Hirajhil area of Siddhirganj, Narayanganj. The accused second wife is a garment worker by profession. First wife has a daughter.
Inspector in charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital Police Camp. Bachchu Mia confirmed the matter and said that the second wife is detained at Siddhirganj police station.
