Two dead bodies were recovered from an office in Paltan

The bodies of two youths were recovered from the office room of a building in Paltan of the capital. Two bodies were recovered around eight o’clock on Thursday night.

The police have released the names of the two youths. They are the son of Noor Islam Patwari of Termuni village of Lalmohan upazila of Bhola. Emon (23) and Charakchhapia village of the same upazila. Jalil’s son Farhad (21). The bodies have been kept in the morgue of Dhaka Medical College.

Deputy Inspector (SI) of Paltan police station Ram Kanai Sarkar told Prothom Alo that they went to an office room on the fifth floor of Rupayan Taj Bhawan of Paltan police station after receiving the information around 8 pm on Thursday. After breaking the door of the room, the two were rescued unconscious and taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 10 pm. There the doctor declared both dead.

Ram Kanai Sarkar also said that both were working as office assistants of Matrubhumi Group. As there was no news from them since last Wednesday, the relatives reported the matter to Matrubhumi Group. Later the two were found unconscious after breaking the door of the office. When the people of Matrubhumi Group informed the police, the police came and recovered the bodies of the two.
