Does that tree really talk in Muksedpur Upazila of Gopalganj? Such a question has arisen in the public mind. Kalbela went to the spot on Friday (June 21) to find out about the incident. Going there, it is known from local sources that the tree does not speak. It is nothing but a form of deception and hypocrisy.
There was a rumor that a tree in the garden of expatriate Kamrul Sheikh, son of Altaf Sheikh of Gozena village in Raghadi union of the upazila, was talking.
The trees are talking – when the word spread in the area, common people and eager crowd flocked there. They put their ears to the tree to listen to the tree, but hear nothing. When people talk, the tree does not respond, but various media and social media publish news by talking to the tree.
When talking to several local people, they said that this is a false incident. Trees don’t talk.
A woman who came to see the tree said that trees do not talk. I greeted, I spoke, but I didn’t get any answer. I heard you journalists talking to trees after watching your report. Now I have come to see from far away. I came and saw – the incident is nothing but lies and hypocrisy.
Chairman of Raghdi Union and General Secretary of Upazila Awami League said in this regard. Sahidur Rahman Tutul said, I saw the incident on social media and various media while talking to the tree in Gozena village of Ward No. 3 of my union.
He also said that the incident of talking in the tree is a lie, fabrication and hypocrisy.
In this regard, Sindiar Ghat Naval Investigation Center IC Md. Shaukat Hossain said, I went to the spot. The tree does not speak. It is nothing but hypocrisy and deception. Some local people were trying to earn money by fencing around the trees.
He said, I broke the bamboo fence. I stopped cheating and hypocrisy.
