Saiful Alam Nirav, former president of Jatiyatabadi Juba Dal, has been released on bail after spending more than 15 months in jail in various cases.
He was released from the Dhaka Central Jail in Keraniganj on Friday (June 21) around 3 pm. A large number of leaders and activists welcomed Karafte Nirav with flowers after his release.
It is known that the law and order forces arrested Saiful Alam Nirab on March 4 last year. There are 454 cases against him. Among them, he was sentenced to 17 years in 7 cases filed before the 12th National Assembly elections. After getting bail in these cases, law and order forces arrested him from the jail on March 20.
Nirav was arrested in a case of 2022 Paltan police station. After getting bail in this case too, Nirav was arrested again from the jail on April 21. He was shown arrested in a case in 2021. He got bail in this case on June 5. But when he came out of Dhaka Central Jail last Monday, he was arrested in the third round and arrested in a case of Motijheel police station in 2022. He was released on Friday after getting bail in this case.
