On Monday, RAB recovered 50,000 SIM cards and illegal VoIP equipment belonging to different companies by raiding a house in Naypaltan of the capital. At this time Raj was arrested.
RAB-3 commander Lt. Col. Feroz Kabir said, Raj was doing VoIP business illegally for 3 years. He has the highest number of Teletalk SIMs. Intelligence surveillance continues to arrest those involved in illegal VoIP business with Raj. The seized VoIP equipment and the accused have been handed over to the police station. In this incident, a case has been filed against him under the Bangladesh Telecommunication Control Act.
