Mymensingh’s Phulpur 3 children of two brothers drowned in water.
The incident took place in Ramakrishnapur village of Rupsi union of the upazila on Thursday (June 13) afternoon.
The deceased are Rafiqul Islam’s daughter Sania Akhtar (8), son Mehdi Hasan (6) and elder brother Mannach Ali’s daughter Nusrat Jahan (8) of Ramkushnapur village.
Locals said that the children went missing while picking dates at the pond near the house. When a body floats on the water, they are found.
Phulpur police station OC Mahbubur Rahman confirmed the truth of the incident.
