A-League has failed miserably and is bankrupt: Mirza Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir commented that Awami League is no longer a political party, they have failed and become bankrupt. He said that the Awami League is surviving in close contact with corrupt bureaucrats and royal officials.

He said this at a seminar organized on the occasion of the 43rd martyrdom anniversary of BNP founder and former president Ziaur Rahman in Munnu City at Giland village of Manikganj Sadar Upazila on Tuesday.

BNP National Executive Committee Member and Dhaka Division Organizing Secretary Advocate Abdus Salam Azad presided over the seminar, Jahangirnagar University Professor Md. Jamal Uddin Dr. gave a speech. Dilara Chowdhury, former teacher of Dhaka University. Tajmeri Islam, Manikganj District BNP President Afroza Khan Rita, Prof. Dr. Mamun Ahmed, journalist Syed Abdal Ahmed and Professor Kamrul Hasan of Jahangirnagar University. 

In the speech of the chief guest, Mirza Fakhrul said, ‘Ziaur Rahman’s politics is the politics of the people of this country, BNP’s politics is the politics of the people. Because of that, the people of the country will never forget Ziaur Rahman and BNP.’ He also said, ‘The country is under the grip of fascism. There is no involvement of the people with those who are ruling the country. They are completely isolated from the people.’ Mirza Fakhrul said, ‘Awami League government is doing mega corruption by creating mega projects in the name of development. gave birth to Benazir and Aziz. The country’s economy is rapidly going into the abyss. Awami League has failed in the extreme and has gone bankrupt.’
