According to the Meteorological Department, rain or thunder may occur over six regions of the country.
This information has been given in the weather forecast for the country’s inland river ports till 1 pm on Wednesday.
According to the notification signed by meteorologist Md Omar Farooq, there may be temporary gusty or gusty winds with rain or thunder over Mymensingh, Comilla, Noakhali, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet regions from South South-West direction at 45-60 km per hour. The river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
Meanwhile, the latest weather notification given on Tuesday night has informed that day and night temperatures will increase across the country on Wednesday. Temperatures may increase by about one to three degrees Celsius during the day and night, the agency said.
