Jamaat demanded two roadmaps from the interim government

He said, I have asked the interim government for two roadmaps. One is reform and the other is election. Reforms and elections are both important.

In response to a question, Jamaat’s Amir said that Jamaat will present a proposal for reforming the party in a press conference on October 9. From the beginning we have been saying that the government should give reasonable time for reforms. I will reveal the reasonable time on October 9.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said that the upcoming Durga Puja was discussed in today’s dialogue. Law and order forces and people will provide security for the puja. Hopefully, there will be an unprecedentedly beautiful puja.

Referring to the objections of some members of the commissions formed in the reforms, he said, “We are not aware of the party.”

He also said that this government is a non-partisan government. They did not come to rule the country. He has come to build a fair way of governing the country. Their job is to pave the way for fair elections. Some fundamentals need reform. What reforms are needed at the moment, I will tell you on October 9.
