Demonstrations were held in various parts of the country after the Friday prayers on Friday (October 4) to protest against the Indian priest’s taunting of the Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW and a BJP leader’s support for that statement.
Alikadam (Bandarban) Correspondent said , Ulama Mashaikh and Muslim crowd took out a protest procession from different mosques of Alikadam on Friday afternoon at 3 o’clock. In the presence of thousands of worshipers from different parts of the upazila, the streets were filled with colorful rallies and slogans.
The protest procession circled the main main road of the upazila city and ended at the ground of Alikadam Adarsh Government Primary School. Later there was a short discussion meeting.
Maulana Abdul Haque, Mufti Maulana Shafiul Alam, Director of Faizul Uloom Madrasa Maulana Shibbir Ahmad and Maulana Chalimullah etc. addressed the protest rally held under the direction of Upazila Parishad Jame Masjid Khatib Maulana Ayub Khan.
At this time, the speakers said that no Muslim can accept the insult of the world Muslim leader and Prophet Muhammad. We did not accept it in the past. In the future, the world will become Muslim. India’s religious preacher Ramgiri mocks the Prophet (PBUH) and Islam. State’s BJP MLA Nitesh Narayan supported this. They have to pay a heavy price. They have hurt the Muslims.
The speakers said that some religious gurus and leaders of India have insulted the dignity of the Prophet. Muslims around the world will unite in the love of the Prophet and build a strong movement in the whole world. People involved in blaspheming the Prophet (PBUH) should be brought under the law and punished.
Sarail (Brahmanbaria) Correspondent said , a protest march was organized by Tawhidi people to protest against Indian aggression and slander of Rasool in India in Sarail of Brahmanbaria.
The protest procession was held around the main main road of the upazila around 2 pm on Friday. At the end of the procession, a protest rally was held in the upazila central Shaheed Minar square.
Maulana Sheikh Amanullah, Maulana Qutb Uddin, coordinator Aman and students and teachers of various madrasahs and thousands of Tauhidi people were present in the protest rally chaired by Maulana Zahirul Islam and conducted by Maulana Moinul Islam Khandkar.
Pirojpur (Barisal) Correspondent said that a protest rally was held in Pirojpur after Juma prayers on Friday in protest of insulting the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Islam by a BJP leader in India. A protest march took place in front of the local central Jame Masjid after the Friday prayers under the banner of Tawhidi people from all walks of life in Pirojpur. The procession traversed the main road of the city and ended in front of the mosque where a rally was held.
Gurdaspur (Natore) Correspondent said that a protest march was organized by thousands of religious people in Natore’s Gurdaspur due to taunting of Prophet Muhammad SAW.
The protest rally was held under the banner of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat after Friday prayers. At this time, protests were held in various villages and mahallas of the upazila.
Chirirbandar (Dinajpur) Correspondent said , a protest march and protest rally was held in Ranibandar of Chirirbandar upazila of Dinajpur to protest against the spread of Muslim hatred by BJP MLA Nitesh Rane, supported by Ramgiri Maharaj, a Hindu priest of Maharashtra, India, about Islam and Prophet Muhammad SAW.
On Friday, after Friday prayers, protest marches came out from various mosques in Ranibandar, a rural town of the upazila, and circled the main road and held a protest rally at Suihari Bazar. Scholars-ulama and local Muslims participated in the protest march and rally organized by Ulama-Mashayek in Ranibandar.
Ghior (Manikganj) Correspondent said that a protest march and rally was held in Ghior of Manikganj to protest against the Indian priest’s taunting of the Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW and the support of a BJP leader for that statement.
After Friday prayers, hundreds of thousands of people gathered in a protest march under the banner of At Taqwa Foundation, Imam Parishad and all levels of Tawhidi people at Baniajuri bus stand on Dhaka-Aricha highway. A rally was held at Khandkar Plaza square after the highway circuit with the protest march.
Benapole (Jesore) Correspondent said, a protest march and protest rally was organized by Benapole Port Thana Imam Parishad today after Friday prayers in response to the insult of Prophet Muhammad SAW by Hindu religious guru Ramgiri and BJB Member of Parliament Nitish Roy Kartak.
Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh Jessore District Amir Maulana Habibur Rahman was present as the chief guest in the protest march and protest rally held under the chairmanship of Maulana Abul Basar.
