In a statement on Thursday, the health authorities of Gaza said that the number of people killed in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict since October 7, 2023 has reached 41 thousand 788 and 96 thousand 794 have been injured.

On Thursday, United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) Commissioner General Philippe Lazzarini said on social media platform X that three UNRWA schools have been attacked in Gaza in the past two days. It has been reported that at least 21 people have been killed.
He also said, ‘More than 20,000 displaced people took shelter in the schools. Some schools have been attacked multiple times since the start of the war.’
More than 140 UNRWA schools have been attacked since October 7 last year, he said.
Lazzarini also said that schools used to be safe havens for education. Now it has become hell for many. No one can use the school for military purposes. Schools are not a target. This is the basic rule of war, which is clearly ignored here.
