A person was killed in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck at Paltan intersection in the capital. Another person was injured in this incident.
The incident took place on Sunday (November 17) around 5 o’clock in the morning when a truck carrying onions collided head-on with a Unique Paribahan bus.
It is reported that the person who died in the incident was a passenger of the rickshaw and the one who got injured was the driver of the rickshaw. However, the name of the deceased was not immediately known.
Paltan Police SI Md Arif confirmed the matter and said that the injured person has been sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for first aid. However, his condition is not critical.
