Four people were killed in a bus-truck collision in Tangail. At least 10 people were injured. 3 of them are in critical condition.
The incident took place on Thursday (October 3) at Kalihati Link Road on the Dhaka-Tangail highway at around 1 am.
The matter was confirmed by the OC of the highway police station. Nannu Khan
The victims were not immediately identified. The injured were rescued and admitted to Tangail General Hospital.
OC of highway police station. Nannu Khan said that a bus collided with a truck on the Kalihati Link Road of the highway on Thursday night. Four passengers of the bus were killed on the spot At least eight others were injured in this incident. The injured were rescued and sent to Tangail General Hospital. Three of them are in critical condition
Meanwhile, the road accident caused a traffic jam in an area of about 10 km from Elenga to Salla on the Dhaka-Tangail highway.
