The mastermind of fascism is located in India so there is still danger over our heads. India continues to campaign against us. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir commented that we cannot afford another disaster at this moment.
BNP Secretary General said, one political party cannot ban another political party. If a political party is to be banned, the people will do it by voting. Or Parliament will decide.
Mirza Fakhrul said in response to the questions of the journalists that we have no concern about Awami League, we are not sure that our concern is about the next election. The interim government has not given any road map on the elections so far. We want a free, fair and impartial election. Reforms are needed to create a level playing field to make the electoral system useful before the elections.
BNP General Secretary recited a few lines of Rabindranath Tagore’s New Hope poem and said, intolerance should not be tolerated, questions should be asked. He remarked that the current interim government should be given time to complete the electoral system and other reforms properly. However, politics should not be done all the time, you have to work with your heart.
Mirza Fakhrul said that the increase in daily products including rice, pulses and oil in the market is making it difficult for people of ordinary income to manage their families. The government should also take care of this aspect.
Mirza Fakhrul then inaugurated the foundation stone of the new building of Thakurgaon District BNP.
District BNP general secretary Mirza Faisal Amin, vice-president Abdul Al Mamun, finance secretary Shariful Islam, former UP chairman Paigam party leaders and activists were present at this time.
