On September 9, the decision was taken to ban polythene bags in a meeting held with the stakeholders to implement the ban on polythene shopping bags in the meeting room of the ministry. In that meeting, Syeda Rizwana Hasan, adviser on environment, forest and climate change, said that no type of polythene or polypropylene bags can be kept in supershops. . Cannot be given to buyers at the same time.
For this purpose, Syeda Rizwana Hasan also announced that from September 15, print and electronic media will carry out a large-scale campaign regarding the October 1 shopping bag ban. At the same time, he also informed about the publication of the notification in the newspaper.
