Former Minister of Railways. Nurul Islam Sujan has been arrested. The police arrested him from Bangladesh Specialized Hospital in Shyamli of the capital on Monday night.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Wari Division Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md. Saleh Uddin confirmed this. He said that he was arrested as an accused in a murder case filed at Jatrabari police station in the capital. Legal action is pending against him.
Nurul Islam Sujan’s house is in Maidandighi of Boda Upazila of Panchagarh District. He was elected MP for the fourth consecutive time in Panchagarh-2 (Boda-Debiganj) constituency in 2024 12th National Parliament Election.
