Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Naib Amir former MP Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher said that Jamaat-e-Islami will not force anything on the people if it comes to power. A conspiratorial group is spreading misinformation that if Jamaat-e-Islami comes to power, it will take away the freedom of women, force them to wear burqa, not allow them to go out of the house.

Stating that Jamaat-e-Islami cherishes the Qur’an given by Allah and the chosen Islam, he said that there is no provision in Islam to force anything on anyone. Nowhere else is greater and truer freedom given than in Islam. Those who fight for the truth, fight for freedom, leave the lust for wealth and fight for the religion of Allah, they can never force anything on anyone.

He said these things in his address as the chief guest at the friendship gathering for the former comrades-members of the Islamic student movement organized by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka Metropolis South at the Diploma Engineers Institution auditorium in the capital on Monday (September 16).

At this time, he also said that the revolution of the students is a help and victory from God. Through this victory, the victory of humanity has begun. This victory will be complete when God’s decree of the land of Bengal is established. When Islamic state is established people will get justice and basic rights. People don’t have to give blood or life to get rights.

Stating that people are running in groups towards the organization which is agitating for the establishment of Allah’s Deen, he said that this has increased the anger of some, while some are indulging in new conspiracies. The people of this country will stop all their conspiracies.

Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan said, some of those who did not allow Jamaat-e-Islami to hold meetings and public gatherings for the past 16 years have fled the country and some are hiding inside the country. They have nothing to do with the people today.

Pointing out that they have severed ties with the people and even with their own party leaders and workers by making public announcements, he said that after Sheikh Hasina’s escape, her son Joy has openly said that she is no longer worried about our country and party leaders and workers.

He also said that they have drawn many blueprints to separate Jamaat-Shibir from the people. How much slander has spread. But the people of the country have understood that the establishment of Jamaat-Shibir is for the realization of the demands of the people, for the establishment of the freedom of the people.

Mentioning that Shibir has given many gifts to lead the nation, he said, till today no one can say that Shibir’s son has committed rape, corruption or indulged in any misdeeds. Today, every person of the country has understood that the people of this country and the land of Bengal are the safest in the hands of Jamaat-Shibir. So people are now openly expressing their love for Jamaat.

Advocate Matiur Rahman Akand said that there have been many revolutions in many countries of the world. However, the July Revolution of Bangladeshi students is an exception to the others. There was no political leadership in this revolution. Although no leader of Awami League, the defeated power in this revolution, left the world, many leaders secretly fled the country. Awami League used the word Razaka to denigrate any opposition including Jamaat-e-Islami. In the end, Sheikh Hasina has made the entire nation, including the students, razaka. The British Supreme Court published the story about the International Criminal Tribunal formed by Awami League and said that the International Criminal Tribunal formed in Bangladesh is a farce tribunal. International standards are not maintained there. The top leaders of Jamaat have been killed by injustice in the name of justice in this tribunal. Jamaat’s top leader ATM Azharul Islam has been detained in this tribunal. His sentence should be quashed and he should be released immediately. As the popular leader of the country BNP chairperson’s sentence has been canceled and released.

In the president’s speech, Nurul Islam Bulbul said, students are saying we want justice. They want justice. This justice will be established only when Allah’s law is established.

Stating that the Jamaat-e-Islami movement is continuing to establish the laws of Allah in the land of Allah, he said that the Jamaat-e-Islami has been demanding reform of the country for so long. Now every person in the country is in favor of reforming the country. And people think that the country will be reformed only if Islam is established.

He also said that for reforming the country, it is necessary to reform oneself and people. And Jamaat-e-Islami has been working since its inception to make a person a true human being.
