BNP, Jamaat, Hefazat Islam, Islami Andolan, Khilafat Majlis, LDP, People’s Rights Parishad, Democracy Manch and all the political parties who have fought against fascism on the streets together from their respective platforms should not create any differences or disagreements.
He made this call as the chief guest in the mass rally organized by the District Khilafat Majlish to protest against the anti-national conspiracy and demand trial of the fallen dictator and to pray for the martyrs injured in the anti-discrimination student movement at Thakurgaon Public Club ground on Sunday (September 15).
He said that there has been a final victory against Sheikh Hasina and her accomplices, we should not be complacent. Maulana Mamunul Haque, Secretary General of Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis has called upon all political parties and democracy lovers to strengthen the unity that has been built against fascism through the anti-discrimination movement.
He said that they should not think themselves safe from the ghosts of Sheikh Hasina. Sheikh Hasina is wandering on the other side of the border. Not only he, but his friends are sitting in different places on this side of the border. They will strike again when they get the chance. The true form of the incidents of minority torture that took place during the Awami government is that Sheikh Hasina and her communal mischief used to strike like a nagini in the darkness of the night and comfort them during the day. It was their staged drama. And if the crew of this drama can’t turn around, then the torture of minorities will never happen again in this country. They used the minorities arbitrarily for their own interests and considered this as a trump card.
Mamunul Haque also said that our movement will continue with the aim of establishing a just society. We want to create a society where there is no discrimination, where there is no cry of hunger, where there is no discrimination.
Demanding the trial of Sheikh Hasina, Mamunul Haque said that by declaring war against the people of a stable country, Hasina has killed hundreds of students in cold blood without precedent. I am praying to Allah for the acceptance of all those martyrs and seeking forgiveness of souls. Along with that, we will see that these murders will be tried by bringing the murderer Hasina to the soil of the country, inshallah. It is very difficult to defend the freedom that we got after a month and a half of war. If we fail to protect freedom, the blood of thousands of brothers will be wasted. Thousands of mothers’ tears will go in vain, so everyone has to be patient.
Thakurgaon District Branch President Hafez Malana Saeed Ahmed presided over the rally and among others, Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis Joint Secretary General Maulana Jalal Uddin Ahmed, Joint Secretary General Maulana Ataullah Amin, Organizing Secretary Hafez Maulana Enamul Haque Musa and others were present.
