Three people died of dengue fever in the last 24 hours till 8 am on Saturday. A total of 23 people died in the two weeks of September due to this mosquito-borne disease. In all, 106 people lost their lives due to dengue this year. On Saturday, 548 dengue patients were admitted to the hospital.

It said that among the three new deaths, two were in Dhaka South City Corporation and one in North City Corporation. Among the 548 new patients, 190 are in South City of Dhaka, 169 in North City, 46 outside Dhaka, 54 outside Barisal City, 24 outside Chittagong City, 20 in Khulna, 24 in Mymensingh, 12 in Rangpur and 9 in Rajshahi.
According to the information of the Department of Health, 23 people died due to dengue in the 14th day of this month. And during this time 5 thousand 748 patients have been identified.
According to the press release, 18 thousand 589 people were infected with dengue in the country from January 1 to Saturday. And 106 people died.
