This information is known from the instructions issued by the Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education on Sunday (September 1). It was signed by Deputy Secretary of the Ministry Mosammat Rahima Akhter.

According to the instructions, the revised and updated textbooks prepared in the light of the previous National Curriculum-2012 (i.e. the textbooks used in the 2023 academic year) by continuing the science, humanities and business education branches in order to take the SSC and equivalent examination (to be held in 2026) in the year 2025 for the students who have passed the tenth standard. will be provided.

According to the National Curriculum-2012, a short syllabus of science, humanities and business education based textbooks will be prepared so that students can complete the syllabus within one academic year. Teaching and evaluation system will be conducted as per National Curriculum-2012.’

It also said that the students who will pass Class IX in 2025 will be provided with branch and cluster wise revised and revised textbooks (to be used in 2023 academic year) prepared in the light of National Curriculum-2012. These students will participate in the SSC and equivalent examinations of 2027 after completing the entire syllabus in two academic years of class IX and X.

According to the instructions of the Ministry of Education, the revised curriculum will be finalized in 2025 with the cooperation of educators, curriculum experts, evaluation experts, experts in related subjects, related education administrators, civil society representatives and parent representatives, which will be fully implemented from 2026.
