Islami Andolan Bangladesh Amir Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim has warned that if anything anti-Islamic is done, he will not be exempted.
Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim said, ‘There will be no concession if anything is done against Islam. Bangladesh of the future will be the Bangladesh of Islamic fundamentalists. All discrimination will be removed and the Bangladesh of equality will be built.’
He said, ‘Those sitting in the interim government have the sacrifices of the people of the whole country behind them. All the political parties could not move the government, the students have overthrown that government. So the new government has to work to fulfill the aspirations of the students.
He also said, ‘Congratulations and best wishes for the role played in helping the flood victims. In the anti-discrimination movement, the Islamic Movement of Bangladesh has performed its duties in the field. The people will not tolerate if the interim government takes any action against Islam and freedom of sovereignty’.
