President of Krishak Sramik Janata League Bangbir Quader Siddiqui Bir Uttam said that Maulana Bhasani, Bangabandhu and people’s Awami League and Sheikh Hasina’s Awami League are not the same.
He said these things while standing in front of the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Tungipara, Gopalganj on Friday afternoon in response to questions from journalists.
Bangbir Quader Siddiqui said, I protested after the assassination of Bangabandhu. Everyone else was in the rat hole then. But even though I got respect from the people, I didn’t get respect from those from whom I was supposed to get respect.
He also said, I am a soldier of Bangabandhu’s ideology. As long as I live, I will live with the ideals of Bangabandhu.
Earlier, Bangbir Quader Siddiqui entered the burial ground of Bangabandhu. Later, standing next to Bangabandhu’s grave, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who was martyred on August 15, 1975, and his family members prayed for forgiveness and prayed for the souls of martyrs.
