Jamaat does not believe in revenge politics: Nurul Islam Bulbul

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Amir of Dhaka Metropolitan South Nurul Islam Bulbul said, ‘Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami does not believe in the politics of revenge. If someone is really a criminal, I demand that his trial be done through the existing laws of the country.’

He said this while speaking as the chief guest at a meeting organized by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami at noon on the initiative of Sabuj Bagh East Police Station of Dhaka Metropolis South in a local auditorium.

Dhaka Metropolitan South Majlis Shura Member and Sabuj Bagh East Police Station Amir Md. Roshan Zaman presided over and police station secretary Md. Faizur Rahman moderated the event as special guests – Central Majlis Shura Member and Dhaka Metropolitan South Working Council Member Shamchur Rahman, Dhaka Metropolitan South Majlis Shura Member and Sabuj Bagh Amir Maulana Abdul Bari of the South.

Also present were Imam and Khatib of Kusumbagh Jame Masjid Maulana Mufti Md. Saiful Islam, Al Amin Sheikh, Maulana Yusuf Harun, Abu Tasin, Md. Mostafa, Sadiq Arman, president of Sabuj Bagh police station of the student camp, prominent banker Al Amin Faizi, prominent social worker and industrialist Aktaruzzaman. Nurul Islam Bulbul said, Jamaat expects justice by investigating every incident in the legal process. Patriotic citizens will resist any evil force to destroy the achievement of August 5. The accomplices of terrorism, extortion, corruption and looting should be identified and prevented. Jamaat-e-Islami also cherishes the same thoughts that prominent people of the society have expressed today in the formation of the country and state.

He also said that we got a new Bangladesh through the mass uprising of the students. During this time, Jamaat donated two lakh taka to each of the martyr’s family and continued to provide full cooperation in the treatment of the injured. We are constantly monitoring and trying to reach those who have been injured, with full cooperation including medical care. Jamaat-e-Islami is working with the dream of building a happy and prosperous welfare country with all the people, it calls upon the prominent people of the society to stand by it.

Special guest Shamchur Rahman said that peace has never come to this world through man-made doctrines and it can never come. For this reason, in order to establish a just welfare state, under the leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh, the rule of God’s law and honest people must be established.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka Metropolitan South’s Hazaribagh South Police Station organized a unit responsible assembly on Friday morning in a local auditorium.

The leader of the gathering was the member of the central working council and the secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan South. Shafiqul Islam Masood.

Under the chairmanship of Shura member and Thana Amir Aktarul Alam Sohail, Dhaka Metropolitan South Working Council Member Abdur Rahman, Thana Working Council Member Principal Maulana Kazi Jalal Uddin and leaders of various levels were also present in the Mahanagar Majlis.
