They were trying to go towards their home on Saturday. But the volunteers did not let them go towards their house as the current was high.

Manwara Begum was standing in the flood water in the Mahishmara area saying, ‘I’ll see you again in Ailam Baridare. Polapindi doesn’t give a damn. They would be a lot of people. Monoara Begum was crying loudly saying these words.

Fazlu Mia said, there were six maunds of rice in the house. These were his wealth. He wants to go home again because of this move. He believes his moves are still good. Not soaked in water.

Where the Gomti river breaks, the house of Fazlu-Monwarad is very close to it. Local people said that all the houses in the area are under water. There is nothing left. All were submerged in flood waters.

Fazlu Mia was saying while crying, her three sons. A son lives with them. He sells curry. And two sons live far away. Fazlu Mia does not have much financial connection. Last Thursday night Gomti went out in a cloth with his wife Manwara after the news of the river break. Go to Rasulpur village, five kilometers away. He was there all day Friday and until Saturday morning. After walking, he left for home again.

Volunteers stopped Fazlu-Manoara couple in Mahishmara area. One of the volunteers is Obaidur Rahman. He said that the bank of Gomti river broke at 12:15 on Thursday night in Burburia next to the market. No one can go there because of the strong current.

Rescue boats are also unable to reach Nanua Bazar and Burburiya due to currents. So Fazlu Mia and his wife are forbidden to go there. The current in that direction, they will not be able to survive with this current. After listening to the volunteers, Fazlu Mia and Manwara Begum went back.
