BNP Central Sports Affairs Secretary and Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP Member Secretary Aminul Haque said that some new BNP has flourished after the fall of dictator Sheikh Hasina’s government. They are Awami ghosts. These ghosts are trying to extort, rob, occupy shops and markets in different places. These miscreants are not from BNP. They must be suppressed.
He said these things at the rally after a protest march organized by Turag Police Station of the capital as part of BNP’s centrally-announced program to demand the trial of mass murderer Sheikh Hasina on Sunday. The protest march ended at Uttara Azampur bus stand in front of Zamzam Tower in front of Uttara Sector 12 Khalpar Mosque.
Aminul Haque said to everyone including businessmen and common people, from now on you will not give subscription to anyone. If someone asks for extortion, tries to commit any encroachment, you all hand over the miscreant to the police or the army. If you all are united, there will be no more chaos in Bangladesh.
He said, we do not want to see any more oppression, torture and killing in Bangladesh. I don’t want to see the blood the way the students of the country have been shot and killed. We don’t want to see this atmosphere in Bangladesh again, the way the autocratic government has shot and killed BNP leaders and workers all over the country. Aminul Haque called upon all the party leaders and workers to be vigilant in this regard so that the human rights of Bangladesh are never spoiled again.
In the protest march, former joint convener of Dhaka Metropolitan North Mostafizur Rahman Segun, Akhtar Hossain, Haji Mostafa Zaman, former members of Metropolitan Government Alauddin Sarkar Tipu, Afaz Uddin Afaz, leader of Uttara Paschim Thana BNP Abdus Chalam, joint convener of Turag Thana BNP Haji Zahirul Islam, Chan Mia, Ali Ahmed, Senior Joint Convener of Airport Thana BNP Delwar Hossain Dilu, Joint Convener Mizanur Rahman Sabuj, Mohiuddin Tarek, Senior Joint Convener of Daksinkhan Thana BNP Helal Talukdar, Joint Convener of Uttara Purva Thana BNP Monir Hossain, Joint Convenor Nazrul Islam Khan, Joint Convenor of Khilkhet Thana BNP. Convener CM Anwar Hossain along with leaders of various levels of local BNP and affiliated organizations were present.
