At least six more cases were registered in Dhaka on Wednesday in the name of former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. All six are murder cases.
Among these, when an application was made to the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court in the case of three deaths in Mirpur, Rampura and Sutrapur Police Stations, the court directed the concerned three Police Stations to take up the case. The officers in charge are asked to record the complaints as affidavits.
The statements of all three declarations are roughly the same.
In which it is said that quota reform Awami League and its organizational leaders and workers and policemen fired indiscriminately at the agitators whose name was mentioned as the donor of the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Apart from Sheikh Hasina, former Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Kamal, former Chief Justice Khairul Haque and former IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun have been made accused in the case of murder of Rangpur Chemical Limited’s office assistant Feroz Talukder in Mirpur-10 Goal square.
Besides, in the case of Rampura, a private employee named Rasel Mia and in the case of Sutrapur police station, a technician named Elem Al Faydi have been accused of murder.
Apart from the above three, a case has been filed against 49 people including Sheikh Hasina for allegedly killing a university student named Md Touhidul Haque in Tejgaon area.
Tauhid’s elder brother Tariqul Islam filed the case in Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Nurul Huda Chowdhury’s court. The court directed the Tejgaon police to accept the complaint as a statement.
Sheikh Hasina has been made the main accused in a case of New Market Police Station regarding the death of businessman Abdul Wadud of New Market area.
On July 19, Md. Akram Khan Rabbi was shot dead by the police in Mirpur area. Sheikh Hasina’s name is mentioned as an accused in this incident as well.
