5 more murder cases were registered against Sheikh Hasina in Dhaka, Rangpur, Natore and Joypurhat on Sunday. Dhaka: 34 people including Sheikh Hasina have been charged in the case of indiscriminate shooting at the Hefazte Islam rally in Motijheel Shapla Chatter on May 5, 2013. Bangladesh People’s Party (BPP) chairman Babul Sardar Chakhari filed the case in Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Zaki-al Farabi’s court. The court accepted the statement of the plaintiff and ordered the OC of Motijheel police station to investigate and submit a report. Meanwhile, 13 people, including Sheikh Hasina, were charged in the case of shooting two students dead in Sutrapur of the capital during the anti-discrimination student movement. The two students who died were Ikram Hossain Kausar, a student of Kabi Nazrul Government College’s economics department, and Omar Farooq of Suhrawardy College.
A woman named Nasreen Begum filed this case in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Tariqul Islam. Natore: A murder case has been filed against Sheikh Hasina and 111 people including former MP of Natore Sadar District Awami League Vice President Shafiqul Islam Shimul. Son of Manu Mia of Mallikahati Mahalla filed the case at Natore police station on Sunday afternoon. Fajr Ali. Jaipurhat: A case has been filed against 128 people including Sheikh Hasina, Obaidul Quader, former whip Abu Saeed Al Mahmud Swapan and member of parliament Samchul Alam Dudu in the murder of college student Najibul Sarkar alias Vishal. Mojidul Sarkar, the father of Vishal, who died on Sunday afternoon, filed a case in the Joypurhat Chief Judicial Magistrate’s Court. The court directed the OC of Jaipurhat Sadar Police Station to register the case as a statement. Deceased Vishal Panchbibi was a Class 11 student of Business Management Institute. Rangpur: A case has been filed against Sheikh Hasina, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader, former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, former Law Minister Anisul Haque and 40 others on the charge of killing engineer Abdullah Al Tahir. Tahir’s father Abdur Rahman filed the case in Rangpur Chief Judicial Magistrate Court on Sunday afternoon. The deceased Tahir worked in an organization in Dhaka. Narayanganj: In the case of the shooting death of a young man named Abul Hasan Sajan, a murder case has been filed against Sheikh Hasina as the main accused. Sajjan’s brother Abul Bashar Anik filed the case at Narayanganj Sadar Model Police Station on Saturday. Obaidul Quader, Hasan Mahmud, Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Junaid Ahmed Palak, Shamim Osman, Salim Osman and 200 others have been accused in the case. The plaintiff alleged that on the orders of the accused, the terrorists opened fire on the procession of students in Missionpara area of the city on August 5. Many people including Sajan were shot. Sajan died the next day while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Siddhirganj (Narayanganj): Sheikh Hasina, Shamim Osman and two councilors of Nashik, including all the associates of Sheikh Hasina, have been arrested and hanged for killing the students. On Sunday at 11 o’clock, this human chain took place in Siddhiganj No. 2 Dhakeshwari bus stand area.
