3 firearms and 22 bullets looted from police station in Chittagong have been recovered. Yesterday, Monday, RAB recovered them by raiding different places of the city. However, no one was arrested at this time.
RAB-7 Chittagong Assistant Director (Mass Media) Sharif ul Alam told Prothom Alo, based on secret information, 3 firearms and 22 bullets were recovered in various parts of the city. They have been handed over to the police.
Earlier, RAB recovered 35 firearms and 275 bullets that were looted from the police station on August 13.
After the change of power on August 5, there were attacks, vandalism, arson and looting in various police stations including Kotwali, Sadarghat, Pahartali in Chittagong city. It is said that 500 weapons and 10,000 bullets were looted at that time.
