Various crime and intelligence departments of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have arrested 22 people in anti-narcotics operations in different areas of the capital.
This information was confirmed by the media and public relations department of DMP on Monday morning.
As part of DMP’s regular operation, they were arrested by conducting raids in various areas from 6 am on Sunday to 6 am on Monday.
At that time, 225 pieces of yaba, 37 grams of heroin, 32 kg of 103 grams of ganja and 92 bottles of phensidyl were recovered from them.
20 cases have been filed against them under the Narcotics Control Act in the concerned police station.
