Quoting Hezbollah, the BBC reported that Hezbollah fired rockets at Haifa and Krait in the northern part of Israel on Tuesday. The IDF said its air defenses destroyed at least 85 rockets. But few hit directly. Hezbollah fired 20 more missiles at the Lebanon-Israel border crossing.

According to Hezbollah, the top leader was killed in the Israeli attack, but their leadership and control is still intact. Naim Kassem, one of the top leaders of the armed group, dismissed Israel’s claims in a televised address for the first time, saying its military structure was intact. He said, ‘Our sources and capabilities are in good condition. Leadership and control are strong. The way our campaign has progressed in the last few days will prove it.’ “The longer the war goes on, the more danger Israel will be in,” he said. Earlier, Israel claimed that Hezbollah had been weakened by its two-week offensive.

Regarding the death of some leaders including top leader Hassan Nasrallah, Naim Qassem said that the command, control and management of Hezbollah is very organized. There are currently no vacancies in the organization. He said that details will be given later. Naim Kashem said Israel did not take part in the war. They participated in the killing. The United States and Europe are with them in this crime. Israel would not have survived a month without their support politically and through their media. “You and your boss (Benjamin Netanyahu) are definitely going to lose,” he said to Israel’s military chief, Gen. Harji Halevy.

In this context, the head of the European Union’s foreign policy, Joseph Borrell, said that the situation in Lebanon is gradually getting worse. In his speech to the European Parliament, he said that 20 percent of Lebanon’s people are now displaced. According to Lebanese government data, this number is more than 100,000. The World Health Organization, or WHO, has warned that displaced people in Lebanon may experience outbreaks of infectious diseases as they live in densely populated areas. They fear the outbreak of water-borne diseases like diarrhoea, hepatitis-A.
