Ameer Jamaat mourns the death of Rezai Kotan, former minister of Turkey, former chairman of Fazilat and Sadat Party and one of the senior leaders of Milli Gurus movement.
Sipahsalar, one of Turkey’s Milli Gurus Movement, former President of Turkey Professor Dr. Nazimuddin Erbakan’s longtime colleague, former Turkish Minister Mr. Rezai Kotan has passed away (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun). He was the Chairman of Fajilat Party (1997-2001) and Sadat Party (2001-03, 06-08).
On Monday (October 7), the Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami expressed deep grief over the death of Mr. Rezai Kotan. Shafiqur Rahman.
He said, “On behalf of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and myself, I express deep grief and sorrow over the death of Mr. Rezai Kotan, one of the leaders of Milli Gurus movement in Turkey and former minister of Turkey. In his death, the people of Turkey and the Muslim world lost a worthy leader. He has played an important role for the development, prosperity and peace of Türkiye and the Muslim world. Türkiye and the Muslim world will remember him with deep respect.
May Allah accept all his good deeds. Forgive him and grant him high status in Paradise. My deepest condolences to the people of Turkey, his well-wishers and the bereaved family. May God bless them to bear this grief.”
