According to the Meteorological Department, storms with a maximum speed of 60 km per hour are likely to occur over 4 districts in the morning. Along with this, rain or thunder may occur in these districts. 

This information has been given in the weather forecast for the country’s river ports from 9:30 pm on Sunday to 9:00 am on Monday.

The Meteorological Department has also informed that during this period, there may be temporary gusty or gusty wind or rain with thunder from the south or south-west direction over Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Sylhet. The river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted that there may be moderate to heavy rainfall in some parts of the country for the next three days. This information has been given in the weather forecast for the next 72 hours from 6 pm on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the weather forecast given at 6 pm on Monday said that at this time there may be light to moderate rain with gusty winds or rain with thunder in many places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal and Sylhet divisions and some places of Dhaka and Chittagong divisions. Along with this, there may be moderate heavy rainfall in some parts of the country.

Along with this, there may be moderate to heavy rainfall at some places in Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions. However, the Meteorological Department has also predicted that the Southwest Monsoon may depart from the Northwestern part of the country in the next 5 days.
