On Saturday afternoon, the chief advisor of the Interim Government at the State Guest House, Yamuna. He told this to the media after the dialogue with Muhammad Yunus.

Jamaat Ameer also said that this government is an interim government. They did not come to rule the country. He has come to build a fair way of governing the country. 

He said, we hope that the current interim government will be able to give a fair election without taking any side-opposition mentality and take the country to a better place. 

Earlier, BNP held a dialogue with the interim government at half past two. The party said it has urged the government to announce a roadmap for the elections. 

After the dialogue, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir told reporters that the election was discussed. We have highlighted the reforms of the Election Commission and the reforms of the electoral system. We have also given our opinion. We have said that Election Commission should be set up immediately based on the consensus of the main political parties by suspending the Election Commission Appointment Act. And we asked to give a roadmap. We have asked the Election Commission to provide a roadmap regarding when the elections will be held.
