President Md. Chief of Army Staff General Waqar-uz-Zaman met Sahabuddin.
He met the President at Bangabhaban on Saturday (October 5) morning.
During the meeting, the army chief informed the president about the overall activities of the army. He said that army units across the country are working to support the civil administration.
At this time, the President said that the army is playing a commendable role in the welfare of the people of the country and in providing security of life and property. He expressed the hope that in the future also the army will be there for any need of the country and people including natural calamities.
