Warning signal number 3 in sea port

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has asked to show local warning signal No. 3 in four seaports of the country. Fishing trawlers have also been asked to stay close to the coast until further notice.


On Wednesday (October 2), meteorologist of Bangladesh Meteorological Department. Monoa Hossain gave this information in the sea port forecast.

It has been said that under the influence of active monsoon winds, deep convective clouds continue to form over the North Bay of Bengal and the coastal areas of Bangladesh. Gusty winds may blow over Bangladesh’s coastal areas, North Bay of Bengal and sea ports.

According to the agency, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra sea ports have been asked to show local warning signal number three. Fishing boats and trawlers operating in North Bay of Bengal have been asked to proceed cautiously close to the coast until further notice.
