A fire broke out in a shelter project house in Sunamganj’s Dharmapasha. 6 people of the same family including two women have died.
The accident took place in the government shelter project house of Sheem area of Jayashree Union of Dharmapasha upazila on Monday midnight. The deceased were the head of the family, Emarul (50), his wife Polly Akhter and their four children Palash, Farhad, Fatema Begum and Omar Farooq.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mohammad Gias Uddin confirmed this information on Tuesday (October 1) around 8 am.
On receiving the information, Assistant Superintendent of Police of Dharmapasha Circle Ali Farid and Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Dharmapasha Police Station Enamul Haque are visiting the spot.
Apart from this, the local administration has not yet informed anything about the origin of the fire
