Israel continues airstrikes in Lebanon after killing Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah. At least 105 people have been killed in this attack in the last 24 hours.

On Monday (September 30), Qatar-based media Al Jazeera reported this information.

Health officials reported another bloody day in Lebanon. Another 105 people were killed in Israeli attacks in the country. At least 359 people were injured during this time.

Lebanon’s health ministry said Israel attacked two residential buildings in the Ain al-Delab area near southern Sidon. At least 32 people were killed. Many displaced families took shelter in the building, which was attacked by Israel.

The ministry said the attacks were carried out in southern Lebanon’s cities and countryside, Bekaa, Baalbek-Harmel and southern Beirut. Several politicians in Lebanon called the attack by Israel a genocide.

Meanwhile, Israel attacked two Yemeni ports. At least four people including three engineers were killed. The Israeli military said it carried out a large-scale airstrike targeting the Houthi rebel group in Yemen. This has increased the risk of a wider regional conflict given the intensity of Israeli attacks in Gaza and Lebanon.

According to the statement of the army on Sunday (September 20), dozens of aircrafts took part in the attack in Yemen along with warplanes. The attacks were carried out on Ras Isa and Hodeidah ports and power plants.

Houthi-affiliated Al Masirah TV reported health officials as saying that at least four people were killed in the Israeli attack. Among them, one is a port worker and three are electrical engineers.

According to the BBC, more than 50,000 people from Lebanon have taken refuge in Syria due to the attack on Israel. The head of the organization, Filippo Grandi, said in an X post that more than two hundred thousand people have been displaced inside Lebanon due to the attack. UN relief operations are ongoing in coordination with the governments of Lebanon and Syria.
