After Lebanon, this time Israel has attacked Houthis in Ras Isa and Hodeidah areas of Yemen.

The Israeli military has confirmed this.

The IDF said the attacks were carried out on Yemen’s power plants and seaports.

In a post on the X-Platform about the attack, the IDF said, “A large-scale air campaign was conducted today in Yemen’s Houthi-dominated areas of Ras Issa and Hodeidah.” Dozens of Air Force aircraft including fighter jets, refueling and reconnaissance aircraft took part in the operation.

‘The IDF attacked power plants and a sea port used to import oil.’

The IDF claimed that the infrastructure and ports attacked in Yemen were used to transport Iranian weapons.

Reuters reported that fuel tanks were damaged in an airstrike in Yemen’s Hodeidah port.

The IDF said the attack was in response to “recent attacks” by the Houthis. The Houthis claimed credit for launching missiles into central Israel on Friday.

In response to the ‘Israeli aggression in Hodeidah’, the Houthi news agency said in a statement, ‘It will not stop the fight in Yemen, nor will it stop the attacks against the Jewish enemies.’

Meanwhile, Lebanon’s health ministry said 24 people were killed in an Israeli attack near the city of Sidon. Besides, 29 people were injured in the attack on ‘Ain Al Deb’ near this city.

The city of Sidon is located on the Israel–Lebanon border and roughly midway between Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.

Since September 23, more than 36,000 Syrians and 41,300 Lebanese have taken refuge across the Syrian border. More than 116,000 people have taken shelter in Lebanon’s shelters
