The chief adviser and his tour companions arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Saturday (September 29) after 3:30 p.m. A commercial Qatar Airways flight carrying them left New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport for Dhaka at 9:30 pm local time on Friday (September 27).

Earlier, Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam told BASS that a Qatar Airways commercial flight carrying the Chief Adviser and his entourage left New York’s John F Kennedy International Airport for Dhaka at 9:30 pm local time on Friday.

Shafiqul Alam said, this was the most successful visit of any head of government of Bangladesh to attend the session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Dr. Muhammad Yunus met with US President Joe Biden and heads of governments and states of 12 countries and heads of various international organizations and participated in 40 high-level meetings on the sidelines. The extensive activities of the Chief Adviser during the visit are expected to make a great contribution in advancing economic and diplomatic relations and partnerships with Bangladesh in the international world. The Chief Adviser arrived in New York on September 23 to attend the UN General Assembly session. He had a very busy time during his four-day visit.
