It said that among the new admissions in the hospital, there are 74 people in Barisal Division, 183 in Chittagong Division, 267 in Dhaka Division (outside City Corporation), 206 in Dhaka North City, 228 in Dhaka South City, 134 in Khulna Division. Besides, 53 new patients were admitted in Rajshahi division, 48 in Mymensingh division and 28 new patients in Rangpur division. However, no patient was admitted to the hospital in Sylhet division at this time.
Meanwhile, 1,900 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals across the country in the last one day. This year, 26 thousand 331 people got clearance.
The Department of Health said that since January this year, a total of 29,786 patients have been admitted to the hospital. 158 people have died of dengue so far this year. Last year, 3 lakh 21 thousand 179 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue. 1 thousand 705 people died.
Earlier, on September 22, 926 patients were admitted to the hospital due to dengue. And on Saturday (September 28), seven people died of dengue in the previous 24 hours. That was the highest this year before Sunday.
