People’s Rights Council President Nurul Haque Noor said that the beneficiaries have drowned in the current government. It is not possible to go far with this NGO brand government. We are saying, to make the government a national government, many may think I am asking to be an advisor. I declare here that I will not be a part of this government. But if the government wants, we can make a proposal.

On the occasion of the third founding anniversary of Bangladesh Professional Rights Council, he made this comment at a discussion meeting on the topic of professionals’ thoughts on state reform after the student uprising.

The meeting was held at Nasrul Hamid Auditorium of Dhaka Reports Unity at 3 pm on Saturday.

Nurul Haque Nur said, Bangladesh Professional Rights Council 1 year ago. Yunus had a program titled Judicial Harassment and Dr. Yunus. We did this despite the many risks then. Those who were with me know the extent of the torture that took place on July 19. I also said in the court, this fascism will not work. For which I had to suffer more torture. 1 year ago we said that the national government should be formed for 2 years. Now that situation is created.

He said, how many of those in this government were on the streets against fascism? But those who were on the streets were not evaluated. This movement to topple the government did not happen in one day, the background has been laid over the past few years. It is doubtful whether this movement would have happened in 2018 if not for the 2018 movement. Many of the front row of this movement belonged to our Student Rights Council so we cannot claim to be our master mind. Without the participation of BNP-Jamaat in this movement, the movement would not have been successful.

He also said that the current situation will not be normal if elections are held now. Because many people have a lot of hunger. Dr. It is our pride that Yunus Sir has international connections, the way world leaders respect him. Our Dr. Yunus is trusted but fears those around him. The reform of the country must be completed. Bicameral and numerically proportional election system should be introduced. India is conspiring to destabilize Chittagong Hill Tracts. India is inciting Paharis. Everyone should be alert to counter these conspiracies. Everyone should be careful with Durga Puja coming up. Maximum security should be provided so that people of Sanatan Dharma can perform puja. There are fears that India’s intelligence agencies may attack and show the world that communal riots have taken place.

The general secretary of the party Md. Rashed Khan said that the cooperation of the political parties should be taken in the reform of the state. Keeping political parties out of reform talks is part of depoliticisation. Even after 50 days of swearing in, the government could not control anything. If everything goes out of control like this, another 1/11 will be created. So far no one from the Sheikh family has been arrested, no one from the Awami High Command is being detained. I do not see any initiative to bring back Sheikh Hasina. What is the state reform without arresting the perpetrators of genocide? Why is the interim government not releasing the names of 626 asylum seekers in the hands of the army? If anyone in this list escapes, the government will have to take responsibility. We want to support the government. Bangladesh will fail if the state is not reformed this time. So release the roadmap for state reforms. We want to know your plan. No state can run without planning.

Nasir Uddin, teacher of Jagannath University, said that now everywhere it is being said that a master mind and coordinators have done everything, the role of political parties and people is being denied. But everyone was involved in this movement. This government is not able to break any syndicate now. The government is increasing the distance between them by creating differences between them. If necessary, rewrite the constitution. Allah does not like the arrogant, Sheikh Hasina was arrogant but she has fallen. I will tell the army to focus on the mountains instead of focusing on elections. Conduct operations to eliminate terrorist groups. But do not wrong any innocent people.

Engineer Riazul Islam Riju said, now everyone is running for positions, they are less focused on reforming the country. Along with reform, we have to keep in mind the issue of implementation.

Managing Director of Bangladesh Journalist Welfare Trust M Abdullah said that despite 6 reform committees, no media reform committee has been formed yet. Still the mass media are friends of fascism. They give a misleading headline at the beginning of the news, but they are subtly serving the information of fascism inside.

Senior journalist Partha Sarathi Das said that reforms should be done step by step on a priority basis. To build a non-discrimination society, the reform process should be initiated through constitutional reform.

Advocate Noor Ershad Siddiqui, a member of the higher council of the People’s Rights Council and the member secretary of the Lawyers’ Rights Council, said that the judges of the dictator Hasina in the High Court should be removed quickly and the fascism’s allies like Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury should be arrested immediately. The Professional Rights Council must be vigilant and play a strong role so that fascism is not established in this country any time.

Deputy Attorney General Ershadul Bari Mamun said that a new constitution should be made through a referendum by holding a constitutional assembly. Citizens should be given top priority for sitting in judiciary and government offices.

Bangladesh Professional Rights Council President Dentist Zafar Mahmud presided over the discussion meeting. Acting General Secretary of Bangladesh Professional Rights Council Advocate Khalid Hasan moderated.

Professor Latif Masum of Jahangirnagar University, Barrister Shihab Uddin, Higher Council members of Public Rights Council Abu Hanif, Shakil Uzzaman, Vice President Afzal Hossain, Office Secretary of Bangladesh Professional Rights Council Rezwan Roop Dinesh, Media and Publications Editor Journalist GM Roknuzzaman also spoke in the meeting. , Organizing Secretary Gazi Nasir, Joint General Secretary SM Sumon, Joint General Secretary Md. Kaushar Sheikh, Senior Vice President Md. Shamsul Alam, President of Sramik Odhikar Parishad Abdur Rahman, Organizing Secretary of Youth Rights Parishad Muntazul Islam etc.\
