A public meeting was held at the Eidgah ground of Sherpur town on the initiative of Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis Sherpur district branch.
Ignoring the rain, Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis Secretary General Maulana Mamunul Haque spoke as the chief guest in the presence of thousands of people, the central leaders of Khilafat Majlis, Sherpur district Khilafat Majlis Sherpur district branch president Mao Safiqul Islam spoke among the local leaders in Terabazar. Madrasa Mohtam Alhaj Mao Siddique Ahmad, Former Central President of Shibir Hazrat Rashedul Islam, District Jamaat Ameer Hafizur Rahman, Former Secretary Hazrat Abdul Baten, Municipal Ameer Nur Alam Siddiqui, Mufti Rafiqul Islam, Mufti Shihab Uddin, Maud Aziz, Maulana Mirach Uddin, Maud Ah Razzaq, Mao: Mahbub, Mao: Farooq Ahmad, Mao: Nazrul Islam, Mao: Ashraful Islam, Mao: Abdullah Al Hadi, Hafez Based, Hafez Zafar, and other leaders. Thousands of people attended the rally despite the rain and it was a successful rally.
