Demonstrations across the country to protest against the taunting of the Holy Prophet in India

Demonstrations have been held in various districts of the country to protest against the taunting of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) by India’s controversial cleric Ramgiri Maharaj.

On Friday (September 27), organized by Narail’s voluntary organization Ushar Alo Foundation, the Baad Juma procession started from the central Jame Masjid and circled the old bus terminal and hospital intersection. Later, the protestors gathered at the old bus terminal premises.

President of Ushar Alo Foundation and student of Jagannath University Minhajul Islam spoke in the protest rally – active members of the organization, social workers Tuhin bin Abdur Razzak, Maulana Shamim Ahmad and Maulana Ayub Ali Ansari.

The general secretary of the foundation, Shafayat Ullah, was present in the rally – student leaders Arif Hasan, Hamidul Haque Tanu, Hasanul Banna, Hirak, Tamim, Ashiq, Sabbir and many others.  

Pabna

A protest march was held in Pabna against Indian priest’s taunting of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). At noon on this day, Pabna Student Association took out the procession from the front of Government Edward College and went around the main main road of the city and went to Shaheed Chatwar and held a road meeting.

Association advisors Mahfuzur Rahman, Rafiqul Islam, Atiqur Rahman, association chief director MH Anik, former general secretary Russell spoke in the meeting.

The speakers expressed deep concern and anger over the Indian priest’s taunting of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and said that Indian priests do not have the authority to hurt religious sentiments. A Muslim cannot tolerate the insulting words about the Holy Prophet. The speakers requested the interim government to protest against them diplomatically.

Jaipurhat

In protest against the taunting of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) in India, a protest march and human bonding were held at Kalai in Jaipurhat.

After Friday prayers, a protest march was organized by An-Najat Foundation from the bus stand premises. The procession ends at the bus stand square via Panchshira Bazar on the Jaipurhat-Mokamtala highway in the municipal town. Later, a human chain was held there.

Panchagarh

Muslims protested in Panchagarh in protest against the taunting of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). Organized by Samilit Khatme Nabuwat Preservation Parishad, after Friday prayers, the worshipers gathered in groups at Panchagarh Chowrangi intersection in the rain. A protest march was taken out from there. The procession circled the main road of the city and ended at the same place. The leaders of Islamic organizations including Panchagarh Combined Khatme Nabuwat Preservation Parishad general secretary Qari Mohammad Abdullah and Khilafat Majlis Panchagarh president Mir Morshed Tuhin spoke at the road meeting.
