He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at an exchange meeting with prominent people of greater Kafrul region organized by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka Metropolitan North in an auditorium of Kafrul in the capital on Thursday morning.
Central executive council member of Jamaat-e-Islami and Amir of Dhaka Metropolitan North Mohammad Salim Uddin presided over the meeting as special guests were central executive council member and Naib of Dhaka Metropolitan North Amir Abdur Rahman Musa, Shura member of Central Majlis Lashkar Muhammad Taslim and Metropolitan Assistant Secretary Dr. Fakhruddin Manik.
Also present were working council members of Dhaka Metropolitan North: Md. Shahidullah, Shah Alam Tuhin, Shura members of the Majlis, Prof. Anwarul Karim, Abdul Matin etc.
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, we want to give human dignity to people. We are determined to unite people for the sake of the country and for the sake of the people without dividing the party and religion. In order to move the country and the nation forward, there is a need for greater national unity regardless of party affiliation. A divided nation can never prosper. Basically, insults and insults are inevitable for a divided nation. We have been insulted and insulted for a long time. Which can no longer be allowed to continue but it is time to change it. And for that we need to get out of the past circle. Basically the mass that rots is like a burden to itself; Likewise burden for family and society. And the person who can match himself is like wealth for himself; Likewise wealth for family, society and nation. So each of us must take the vow to be rich.
He urged people from all sections of the society to come forward to work unitedly for the welfare of the country and nation.
He said that the welfare of the masses is the ideology and motto of Jamaat politics. So the leaders and workers of Jamaat are always working tirelessly for the welfare of people. We are always uncompromising to alleviate human suffering. We carry our own identities. I invite Quran-Hadith among people in Amli language. And this invitation is a call to Almighty Allah and a right in religion. We want people to find their real address through our invitation. We do not consider anyone as a fool, rather they can decide their own destination by accepting dawat, InshAllah. Allah is the real owner of human actions. And man’s duty is to try to change his destiny through action. He urged everyone to be united irrespective of party affiliation to make the August 5 victory meaningful.
