Israel launched a terrible attack on Lebanon. At least 492 people were killed and more than 1200 injured in their attack on Monday. This has led to fears of an all-out war between Israel and Hezbollah.

Israel’s military says it hit more than 800 targets. Lebanon’s state news agency reported heavy bombardment in various areas in the south of the country.

Lebanese health officials said more than 90 women and children were among the dead.

Monday’s attack was the deadliest since the 2006 war between Israel and the Lebanese group Hezbollah. Thousands of residents of southern Lebanon began fleeing, and traffic jams broke out on roads from the southern port city of Sidon to the capital, Beirut.

Israeli Defense Forces spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said in a video message that the Israeli forces took this step in response to indications that Hezbollah was preparing to launch an attack on Israeli territory.

Hagari said Hezbollah is stockpiling missiles, drones and other weapons in civilian areas, and Israel is advising Lebanese citizens to evacuate areas where Hezbollah is present.

Hagari said, ‘We are working towards achieving all the objectives of the war.’ “We are working to destroy Hamas in Gaza and repatriate all hostages, and to counter the threat posed by Hezbollah in the north and enable the residents of northern Israel to return safely to their homes,” he said.

Hezbollah said it fired dozens of rockets at Israeli military targets in northern Israel on Monday.

Israel’s air defense forces also shot down a drone launched by a pro-Iranian extremist group in Iraq early Monday morning.

Hezbollah and Israeli forces launched hundreds of missile attacks on Sunday. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to do “whatever it takes” to restore security in northern Israel.

Netanyahu said that in recent days, Israel has dealt Hezbollah a series of blows that they never imagined.

Hezbollah attacked Israel in response to the killing of Hezbollah military leaders in Beirut on Friday. Hezbollah, on the other hand, has blamed Israel for remotely detonating explosives on pagers and walkie-talkies inside Lebanon. At least 32 people were killed and thousands injured in the attack.
