Former Minister of State for Water Resources Colonel (Retd.) Zahid Farooq Shamim has been arrested by RAB from Baridhara in the capital.
RAB’s Legal and Media Wing Director Lt. Col. Munim Ferdous confirmed the matter on Sunday (September 22) evening.
He said, there are multiple murder cases against him. He will be arrested in that case.
Lieutenant Colonel Munim Ferdous said that Zahid Farooq was arrested from Baridhara in the capital after his location was confirmed based on specific intelligence information. This RAB official also said that he will be handed over to DB.
